ABOUT ABOUT

“The Year Is 2030” is an envisioning workshop that familiarizes participants with consumer megatrends and strategic foresight tools to extrapolate possible futures about the topics that are most important to us.

The future is not static — there are many plausible futures that are constantly in flux, and we can help create the one we most prefer. First, we’ll understand the driving forces of change, and then we’ll use workshop tools to generate a vision of Philadelphia in the year 2030.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose a Philadelphia-specific challenge to explore from the realms of food, health, human connection, and social impact. Ryan Chen, Bresslergroup's Director of Design & Innovation Strategy, and Anat Mooreville, PhD, Design & Innovation Strategist, will lead you in the ideation of possible products or services that might be used to serve future user needs.

Join us for a couple of thoughtful and playful hours to challenge your current assumptions and engage your imagination about what the future might look like. The workshop will start at 6:15 p.m.

Drinks and snacks will be provided!

This event is free, but attendance is capped at the first 50 people who register.
